Bill Conrad

Hi, I'm Bill Conrad. I'm on my "Second Act" as a cinematography student at Full Sail University, living in Reno, Nevada. I'm also the proud owner of a new media event production company specializing in ticketing, event management, and live streaming for casinos and convention centers. After a long career in the military, I'm now channeling my energy into storytelling and creativity, thanks to the Post-9/11 GI Bill.

People are often surprised to learn about me that I was held back in second grade. That early setback could've defined me, but instead, it became part of a journey that led to my appointment to and graduation from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Growing up, I was always drawn to the arts. Drama class, the summer acting club, and various sports were my high school highlights. That creative spark never left; I've just traded the stage to the behind-the-lens producer. I've struggled with reading, spelling, and proofreading (thank goodness for Grammarly!), but I've always had strong listening skills and the ability to grasp and apply what I learn quickly. That's served me well in the military, events, and livestream productions.

Most of all, I'm a family man. My wife has been my rock, and I'm incredibly proud of our three children. Our son graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and is a C-130 pilot, and our middle daughter is a First Lieutenant and West Point graduate. Our youngest daughter is also a West Point graduate now serving as a Second Lieutenant. They inspire me every day.
